At the request of Maternal, Fetal and Neonatal Research Center, a meeting was held regarding the coordination and cooperation of the covered hospitals of Tehran University of Medical Sciences to the HIS system in the IT unit of Tehran University of Medical Sciences in September 7, 2017. Dr. Shariat, research deputy of the research center, Dr. Rezaeizadeh, manager of the electronic system of neonatal data registry, along with the engineers and officials of the HIS system of the Maternal, Fetal and Neonatal Research Center in Vali-e-Asr, Bahrami, Shariati, Moheb Yas and Arash Hospitals attended in this meeting.

First, the history of the neonatal data registry system in the world and research center modeling of this system and consequently, the design and launch of a similar system in Vali-e-Asr Hospital were pointed out. Then, connection process of the HIS system to the electronic system of neonatal data registry of the NICU ward in other hospitals was discussed in detail.

In the end, following the agreement of the mentioned hospitals representatives, it was determined that the engineers in charge of the hospitals do the necessary actions to launch this system in groups and together.
