Dr. Rahi Abouk's Lecture entitled "Screening Policies of Congenital Heart Diseases in Neonates"
With the aim of establishing a cooperation with non-resident Iranian researchers, supporting and promoting the scientific and research level of research centers, Dr. Rahi Abouk, graduated in Health Economics from the Wisconsin Milwaukee University, USA, was introduced from the international deputy of the university for presenting a lecture on neonatal health in the spring of 2017. After making coordination, he accepted the invitation of the Maternal, Fetal and Neonatal Research Center and presented a lecture on "screening policies of congenital heart diseases in neonates" in August 6, 2017.
Professors, general, assistant and subspecialist students of pediatrics, neonates and children's hearts groups, and a number of researchers in the complex participated in this meeting. Dr. Abouq provided valuable matters regarding the epidemiological differences of identifying critical cases of heart diseases before and after screening system through the pulse oximetry. The active participation of the audience in this meeting was important and indicated their interest in this issue.
In the end, Dr. Abouk expressed his interest in cooperating and participating in research projects and re-holding such courses in his future trips to Iran.
