A contract was concluded between Tabriz University of Medical Sciences and the UNICEF organization representative regarding the implementation of Care for Child Development (CCD) project in Iran in March 1999, and Maternal, Fetal and Neonatal Research Center from Tehran University of Medical Sciences was introduced as the partner of this project. In the meetings held with the UNICEF representative in this regard, the center prepared a detailed report entitled "The Analysis of The Current Status of CCD in Iran and the World" and presented it in one of these meetings. In the last meeting and after a lot of discussions, it was determined that Tabriz University of Medical Sciences in the joint cooperation with Maternal, Fetal and Neonatal Research Center hold an introductory CCD workshop in the country from March 2021.
